The Arab Water Academy Board Meeting

The Arab Water Academy held its first Board meeting at the Environment Agency-Abu Dhabi (EAD) on March 3rd, 2010 coinciding with the Arab Water Day recently adopted by the Arab League's Water Ministers Council and celebrated to promote Water Security throughout the Arab world.

The Board meeting gathered water ministers, leaders and senior professionals representing the different sub-regions of the Arab world as well as partner international organizations. The eminent personalities coming from Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, the UAE, and the USA discussed the Academy's achievements as well as the strategy and action plan for the next three years as presented by the AWA's Director Dr. Asma El Kasmi.
